Paper, scissors....

Matisse knew what he was doing with his cut outs. If I'm ever stuck for something to draw I start to collage. It's a really does loosen you up and get ideas going. Here I printed some marks I'd made with paintbrushes on to sticky backed paper and got scissoring. They are pretty rough and ready. But that is what I like about them. I've been collecting a little inspiration board of all things collage over on Pinterest. Check it out here

I've even been sticking bits to a mug to get some ideas for ceramic designs.
