Module 2 of the
art and business of surface pattern design has started. A project we have been asked to do involves creating a doodle wall to draw on every day. Already it has allowed spontaneity and experimentation in my drawing. Without thinking too much about it I am creating some stuff I like. After five weeks worth of daily doodling this is going to be a big drawing and one that I hope will give me lots of ideas.
When I was small my sister and I had a wall for drawing on. It feels like just as much fun to do now as it did then. Though I think my drawing is rather more surreal now than it was back then.
This is day 1 of week 1. I'll post my progress with it over the next few weeks.
