Weekend drawing

Sunday was a bit of a lazy day and an opportunity to have a play with some collage. I have got the new Vine app on my phone and I'm enjoying creating some little videos of my work. I haven't worked out how I can share it on the blog yet, but you can look me up on Vine if you have it, and I have been able to post some on Twitter.

I also had a play with watercolour. It's fun to just sketch with no intent or expectation, but just for the pleasure of drawing. It wasn't intentional but I did end up drawing patterns! Of course. Here is a little peek at some of my efforts.
Quite a 50s feel going on here. I was pleased with the watercolour and ink stripe (bottom left). It reminds me of silver birch bark.
