I've been taking part in a project organised by Gill Eggleston. Efuto is a Japanese picture envelope and the idea is to send a little illustrated envelope joy through the post to a hopefully delighted recipient. I have posted mine off today for Eva Marion Seyffarth, a talented designer in Diez, Germany. Can't wait till I get one from some one else in the post!
It was fun to create, and as usual I had a play with some collage and ink. Looking to the Milan Memphis collective for a bit of inspiration. Here is the result:
Gill is also compiling a great directory of new designers using the Efuto idea, so I have created one and sent it to my Kiosk too. The Little white book of Surface pattern designers will be available in the new year. And you can find out more here
Gorgeous Efuto. Thanks for the mention. Have tweeted your blog post.

Looking great! I love that you were able to get the post markage. For some reason we don't do that in Canada. I still have to do the back of the envelope...thanks for the reminder. Julie
